Fashion in Movies: How to Be Single

I'll admit it, I'm still victimized by fashion! I'm kind of diverting my attention to some things, but I couldn't help it, fashion always gets in my way and boom, I have this certain insane fantasies again.

Have you ever experienced walking through the whole Ayala Avenue, Ph? Too many buildings will eat you alive! Haha But that's not my point of asking it, the thing is I've already experienced traversing those streets in Makati Business District (The NY wall street of the PH) at a rush hour, when everyone is walking with their briefcases, coats, stilettos and other sorts of corporate attire. Others meanwhile, are just walking around from a shopping spree at greenbelt! I've been converted into some sort of lunatic, who imagined herself to be one of them. Ah! The fashion is superb, classy overloaded! The connection of this to my blog post is......... HAHA nothing! Kidding

I recently watched this movie, recommended by a close friend, I'm not so much of a movie buff and not really a nazi on judging movies, but I do like Romantic-Comedy Genres orrr British Indie Films. Some of my friends are fond of watching old films circa 50s-80s, which is kind of cool, but I'm not that very interested in it, although I love Audrey Hepburn films !!!! Much of the old films I've watched is already in circa 90s. ANYWAY before I get to blab too much, the film recommended to me by a friend, is entitled: How to Be Single. Which was such a cutie........ because of the WARDROBE OF DAKOTA JOHNSON AND REBEL WILSON! (Oh no! I didn't just use all-caps to emphasize my statement?!). Yes, you read it right, I'm enthralled by the fashion in it as much as I love the movie - I'm not going to discuss the synopsis of the film here. You can watch it and go figure!

I just want to share how pretty the styling is in this movie, which brings me back to my Makati business district imagination (the same feeling when I was watching sex and the city, the devil wears prada and confessions of the shopaholic)! I'm already excited to be a WORKING WOMAN! Walking on some street with grace and class, just like Dakota Johnson in this movie! Hahahaha - whaaaat? Not too much connection but you'd still read my blog post right?

Here are my favorite looks (most of them are Dakota Johnson's):

The Denim Story

I'm not used to fashion blogging but I'll give it a try, at least once in a while. To tell you honestly, this wasn't a really good time to do fashyown pictorial, mainly for these 3 horrible reasons; Firstly, I have too much pimples going on UGH! (don't worry, I've already had it checked). Secondly, I'm reviewing for the crucial next semester, so I don't really have much time for these things, and thirdly, I'm fat and out of clothes (which have always been my problem since then). In any way, I'm still willing to feed you with my vanity because I'm a cool girl (LOL) and today is my blog's 5th birthday.  I hope you read this until the very end.

So what's my denim story?

All kinds of grey for summer 2015

Dear summer,

I'm so happy you're finally here (well, not that you weren't always here in the Philippines), It just feels a lot like summer now.

Anyway, before I talk about my summer plans. I will first show you (with utmost excitement) my Baccalaureate outfit last March 27. I never had a really good photo on that day because I was only with my mom and she had to sit at the parents' area and wasn't able to take a good photo, it was too early in the morning and we were running late thus we both look like zombies. So yes, I decided to have a separate photo shoot of my outfit (Hahahahaha! I have that confidence of a Fashion Bloggaaah).

Going Carrie

This was the Outfit I wore during our Kirisikisan, Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants acquaintance party. Wherein the theme was: "Dance your denim away', funky town fever!". Since I'm no fashion critic, I can really say, that the people in the party were so creative with expressing the theme.

Before I proceed, I apologize for a low quality picture, I don't have a proper camera at the moment, so I just told my friend, din-din, to take 2 whole body pictures of me, therefore I'm the Man! Hahaha what a nice way to take outfit shots =)))) Hello? It's better than never.

Rawr-bre

Alleluia! An Outfit post! However it's not really a formal shoot, most of it was just a stolen shot. Taken by one of my really close friend, who's in to graphic arts. I usually ask for advices from her. I super love her!

Btw guys, Please never forget to click the "Read More" link because I always put jump break on long posts. :)

It's the Bridge!

Hello! I'm back with fashion blogging, after a few months of trying to convince myself to post something haha. I'm sorry I'm just too shy. God please give me enough strength and confidence.

Last October, we had a mini-photoshoot for  Sassy Pink Shoppe together with the Ateneo Fashionistas, and they're really the best people you will ever meet! I've already missed so many fashion shoots with them.

So here's what happened with the Mini-Shoot, yes we had an awesome Photographer from Kawaii Photography :) Amazing! I can never picture myself as something Kawaii, but they told me I'm chinita so I think Kawaii style suits me, but I always tell people: "No! I'll do everything just to be Alexa Chung, the fat chinese version"  Lol hahahaha kidding aside.

Don't you just love the Dress? It shouts Sassy Pink all over!

Flower Pop Girls

I am  a fan of girls who are not afraid of showing off their own style and who takes effort to dress themselves properly. I love them!!! I mean, I know that we have different styles and that is what makes it more exciting! :D No one is even judging us on how we look like.

I'm Glad there's A-Fash, (A-Fash stands for Ateneo Fashionistas. A-Fash exists in the goal of uniting the fashionistas in Ateneo de Naga University and share each members’ passion for fashion. This group/community also aims to apply Ateneo’s values through fashion). At first I was really shy to join them, probably because I'm always afraid of talking with fashionable people. (I don't know why?) Hahahahaha

Last Wednesday, we decided to wear Florals! Good for the very Bipolar weather of Forever Spring Philippines! Hahahahaha

Here's what I wore:
