Quiet is all that I am
By Patricia
You told me about, Destiny
I never believed in such a
felony,
Nor do I embrace in love at
first sight
I’m not the one who would
cling into blight
I won’t raise a red, just to
feel red
Too busy, never dreamt of roses
in bed
So, Quiet is all
that I am.
We’re two tables apart,
Naive for calling me pretty and nice
How could you even use that advice?
What I want is for you to see me as
art
It has to give you something to feel
And I loathe feeling that something isn't real
But, Quiet is all that I am.
I have never for once spoken
Of the words I wanted to say
You quoted, “Quiet is all that I am”
If brave enough, untie my tongue
then,
If you happen to hear me pray
Would you cut the rope?
Or would you find me as hope?
Quiet is all that you are.
