How to lose a Fairytale

It's 2a.m. and I'm not yet asleep
I was writing a story of a Doctor's love

"How to lose a Fairytale"

I wrote a love story for a girl named "Charlotte". She fell in love with a doctor at the age of 19, she was beautiful and smart. She had the perfect marriage and an Ideal family at the age of 21, she bore a daughter and lost it when the daughter turned 3. The doctor was a heart surgeon and he failed to save his child suffering from a heart failure. Oh how depressed they were when they lost the child. They grew apart and got divorced. Charlotte became the beast for a boss and "He" became a heartless doctor. They separated and left with nothing but of sad "Good bye". That's how they lose the Fairy-tale.

Years went by, you'd think that after everything that happened the love just died believing that it would never come back. You  were already taught that forever doesn't exists, but a mere word found in the books we have read or in the lyrics we sang. Charlotte was wrong.

They met again. Charlotte struggled with a post traumatic depression. She consulted the best doctor in town and found him. Oh how it's like to runaway and ignore as if the love was gone but in the end you realize, the love was never really gone, you just bury it, to forget it. However, The Eyes don't lie.

Upon seeing the doctor, she was furious of how successful he is like nothing had happened to them in the past. She blamed the doctor who she thought was uncaring. She created false hate messages. She found herself hanging on a cliff, ready to fall yet no one dares to catch. She tries to bring herself back so someone will love her again and comfort her when the cold morning begins. She thought she was in love with the idea of love and  not the person itself.

Charlotte was admitted to the hospital and felt a kiss on her forehead while sleeping. It was after all the love of the doctor. And it wasn't gone. After being released in the hospital, she visited her daughter's tomb and found herself running away again. The Doctor caught her and he pleaded. He said in the utmost manner, "You may have suffered a lot, and I couldn't level my sorry with how much you are hurting. But, I, too lost a daughter. Not just a daughter but a Family, I lost the Love and I lost you. I couldn't hide it forever. Seeing you go is like seeing a person die and I am his doctor. Letting you go pains me but seeing you helpless with life is a torture." Imagine the next scene as something like Prince Charming and Cinderella's Kiss. That's it.

The rain starts falling hard. It was a happily ever after.

We'll never know what happens in "The End". After all, you are Charlotte.
